We recently stayed at a charming cottage in a lovely village. It had everything we needed and was recently refurbished. The location was ideal for exploring York, East and North Yorkshire, and the Coast. The cottage was clean, warm, and bright, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen. The hosts were helpful and the local community was friendly. We also appreciated the variety of tasty food options within walking distance. Communication with the hosts was perfect, and they provided clear access and parking instructions. The overall experience was exceptional.
Cannot find any fault 👌

Perfect communication, clear access and parking instructions. Great location, close to local shops and pub. Very clean and well-furnished. Public transport easily accessible for exploring the area. Lovely walks and beautiful scenery. Relaxing holiday.
No upstairs toilet and steep stairs for night-time bathroom visits. Annoying beeping noise from a hanging smoke alarm in the hallway.

The cottage was perfect for our Easter weekend getaway. It had everything we needed and more, with thoughtful touches and extras provided. Facilities exceeded expectations, especially the well-equipped kitchen and the sparkling bathroom with a powerful shower. The living room was just the right size and the patio out back provided a relaxing space to soak in some sunshine. the cottage's proximity to shops made it easy to grab any essentials we needed.
There were a couple of downsides to our stay. we had an unpleasant encounter with a neighbor who rudely asked us to move our car even though we were not causing any obstruction.

Great location near a pub and shop in a quiet village. Very clean property which is well appointed and cosy. The main bedroom was so beautiful, fresh, and inviting. The cottage was in a lovely location overlooking the Green in the center of the village. Parking was close and easy. The inside was very clean, light, and airy.
The beds in the room with two singles were not especially comfortable. The worst part of the stay was the poor communication from the host.

I recently stayed at a charming cottage in a delightful village location. The property was tastefully furnished and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was immaculate and stocked with all the necessary equipment, and we even received some lovely welcome treats from the hosts. The cottage was situated on the village green, offering a peaceful and quiet setting. We also appreciated the convenience of street parking and the proximity of a well-stocked Spar shop and a popular chippy. The location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions such as York, Beverley, and the seaside. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again.
During our stay, we encountered a couple of minor issues that were not the fault of the owners. while unloading our car outside the cottage, a woman approached us and rudely asked us to move our vehicle, despite our intentions to do so promptly.

This charming cottage offers a delightful and comfortable stay. Situated in a picturesque village, it overlooks a beautiful green and conveniently has parking close by. the interior is clean, light, and tastefully decorated. the kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances and thoughtful extras like a coffee maker with pods. the cottage also boasts a relaxing garden with outdoor furniture, perfect for enjoying a drink or two.
The second bedroom is on the smaller side and may be cramped for a family of four.

The property was newly and comfortably furnished, with an immaculate kitchen and well-stocked supplies. The location on the village green was delightful and the street parking was convenient. There was a well-stocked Spar and a popular chippy nearby. The hosts were quick to respond and even provided welcome treats and starter supplies. the property offered a first-class experience and we would stay again without hesitation.
While the property was comfortable for two people, it felt a bit tight for four. There were only two chairs in the garden and one toilet, which was located downstairs.

Perfect location for our Easter getaway. The cottage was well equipped, spotlessly clean with beautiful furnishings. The village had all we needed within a short walk - a convenient shop, great fish and chip shop, and a lovely pub. The cottage's proximity to the green was a bonus, especially for our little one who enjoyed the nearby play park. The communication from the host was excellent, providing clear instructions and easy parking.
One small concern was the location of the second bedroom's door, just off the last step of the stairs, which could be a potential hazard. We also found the floral smell of the cleaning products upon arrival a bit overpowering.
